The City Council adopted a $2,623,386.57 dollar budget for the year 2011. Director William R. Strausser is in charge of the City's Accounts and Finance Department. The Director oversees all fiscal affairs of the City and works closely with the City Clerk and City Treasurer. The Director ensures that the City is operating efficiently and effectively and serves as acting mayor during the absence or inability of the mayor to function.
